KCHO

Kcho is a contemporary Cuban artist working in sculpture and mixed-media. He earned his BA in fine arts from the National School of Fine Arts in Havana and developed his practice, citing the American Conceptual artist Bruce Nauman as a major influence on his work.

KCHO's artwork features boats and boat-like forms referencing childhood passions while growing up on an island as well as addressing the concept of migration, escape and freedom.
